About

The exhibition is a collaboration and curation project from two NC visual artists, Woodie Anderson (printmaking) and Les Caison III (painting & illustration). Both are based in Winston-Salem and are alumni from Appalachian State University.

Their project centers around hand-pulled print editions that are shared among artist collaborators who add additional layers. The group has continued to share and collaborate over the past year, generating variations and new interpretations of the Star theme. The result is an immersive exhibition that showcases how art evolves,, through community involvement,, into deeper understandings of the theme.

This project is on-going, with a exhibit premier slated for January 2027 at Greensboro Project Space, School of Art, University of North Carolina Greensboro.

The exhibition will include groupings/threads of images as they evolve; examples of artists individual artwork; and process images throughout the project.
